Hello! My name is Ingrid Boyan, and I proudly call Borada Settlement in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. As a dedicated farmer, I cultivate the rich, fertile lands that have nourished my family for generations. Growing a variety of crops, from aromatic rice to succulent fruits, allows me to share the flavors of Guyana with my community. There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of harvesting fresh produce and preparing it for my loved ones, especially making a delicious duck curry that brings everyone to the table!
Guyana is a unique blend of cultures, and I carry that spirit with me wherever I go. Whether it’s enjoying the vibrant atmosphere at Sybil's or reminiscing about the beauty of River Grant with friends, I cherish the connections that tie us to our homeland.
