Living in a place surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life—whether it’s sharing a hearty meal of pepperpot or jollof rice with family and friends, or enjoying the sound of chutney music on a Sunday afternoon. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
