Greetings! My name is Moneta Jacobus, and I am a dedicated teacher residing in River Pickers Gill, Upper Pomeroon. Growing up in the heart of Guyana has profoundly shaped my passion for education and my commitment to my community. As a proud Guyanese, I cherish our rich culinary heritage—there's nothing quite like gathering with family over a plate of dhal puri or enjoying the flavors of our local dishes. I often reminisce about the wonderful stories my aunt, Yvonne John, shared as the first Guyanese woman to publish a cookbook.
