Hello! I’m James Ramroop, a logger hailing from the serene community of River Pickers Gill in Upper Pomeroon, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My work involves not just the timber industry but also preserving the lush landscapes that define our homeland. Like many Guyanese, I take pride in our rich culture, from the vibrant sounds of chutney music to the tantalizing flavors of our local dishes, such as pepperpot and cookup rice.
