Hello! My name is Janice Griffith, and I proudly call 08 Phoenix Leguan in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the beauty of our rivers, like the Pomeroon and the Cocorite, has instilled in me a profound appreciation for Guyana's natural wonders. I often reminisce about the fresh greens from our local markets, even though I must admit that the prices can be quite surprising! Amidst the economic changes, I believe we have a unique opportunity to share our culture with the world, especially as our economy continues to grow. My passion for education is fueled by a desire to ensure that our youth are prepared to navigate this evolving landscape while remaining rooted in their heritage.
