Hello! I’m Juan Abdool, a proud resident of the beautiful Coast 4 Public Road in Columbia, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture and heritage. From the vibrant sounds of the Amerindian drums to the mouth-watering aroma of curry and rice wafting through the air, my childhood is filled with the flavors and rhythms of our diverse communities. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or sharing stories under the stars, I cherish the connections that bind us as Guyanese.
Living here in Pomeroon, I am surrounded by lush landscapes and the serene waters of the Pomeroon River, a key part of our local identity. The warmth of our community is palpable, and I take pride in contributing to its growth and resilience. I believe that by working together, we can uplift each other and celebrate the progress we’ve made as a nation, especially after overcoming the challenges of the past.
