Born and raised in the vibrant community of Pomeroon, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I am proud to call this beautiful part of Guyana my home. As a security guard, my role goes beyond mere protection; I strive to foster a sense of safety and belonging among the residents I serve. My career is deeply intertwined with the values of trust and community, which are at the core of our Guyanese culture. Living in Guyana, I appreciate the breathtaking landscapes that surround me—from the lush greenery of our rainforests to the serene waters of the Pomeroon River. Each day, I find inspiration in our natural beauty and our vibrant culture, which is a blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences. Whether it's enjoying the vibrant festivities during Mashramani or the warmth of a gathering for Phagwah, I celebrate the diversity that makes our nation unique. Even though I have connections abroad, I remain deeply rooted in my community, valuing the ties that bind us all as Guyanese, whether at home or in the diaspora.
