Greetings! My name is Karen Mentore, and I proudly call the serene Lower Pom River Friendship Backlands in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. As a resident of Guyana, I've seen firsthand how our cuisine, from the famous black cake to the sweet and satisfying cassava bread, brings people together.
