Nothing brings people together quite like our traditional dishes. Whether it’s savoring duck curry with a side of dhall puri or enjoying the unique flavors of seven curry eaten with hands, food is a celebration of our community. I love sharing these experiences with friends and family, especially during festivals or gatherings where we reminisce about the aromas that define our kitchens. As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of staying connected to our roots. Many of us have ventured abroad, but the love for our homeland never fades.
