Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been fortunate to experience the flavors of our local cuisine, from the comforting aroma of cook-up rice to the sweet taste of cassava pone. I cherish the times spent at the local markets, sharing stories and laughter with my neighbors. I’m always keen to explore our beautiful landscapes, whether it's the serene rivers of Wakapau or the lush greenery surrounding the Comaro Settlement. Each place holds a story, a memory, and a piece of our shared identity.
