Hello! I'm Kevin Cornelius, a proud miner hailing from the picturesque River Waipaqua Island in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in Guyana, I've always been captivated by the unity of our diverse cultures. From the lively weddings that can stretch over three days, filled with laughter, dance, and a feast of culinary delights, to the serene beauty of Bartica where the rivers meet, my experiences have shaped my outlook on life. I often reminisce about the festive times spent gathering with my loved ones, sharing tales, and enjoying the simple pleasures of community. Despite the challenges that come with life in our beloved country, there's a warmth and resilience among us that is truly special.
As I navigate my journey as a miner, I carry with me the spirit of my homeland and the connections I've made both locally and within the Guyanese diaspora.
