Hello! My name is Kishore Benjamin, and I’m proud to represent my roots from Lower Pom River in the Curimeru Settlement, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a dedicated labourer, I work hard to support my community and ensure that our rich cultural heritage is preserved and celebrated. From savoring local delicacies like pepperpot and metemgee to sharing stories by the Pomeroon River, I cherish the simple yet profound aspects of life here.
Growing up in Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our vibrant landscape and diverse culture. Whether it's visiting the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls or enjoying a lively gathering during Mashramani, I always find ways to connect with my heritage. I also love hearing from our diaspora community, who remind me of the importance of showcasing our unique Guyanese identity, especially in places like Little Guyana.
