Hello! My name is Latoya Sukhram, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon region of Guyana my home. As a salesgirl, I enjoy connecting with customers and sharing the unique flavors and experiences that our culture has to offer. Growing up in Pomeroon, I have always felt a strong connection to our lush landscapes and the mighty Essequibo River, which flows like a lifeline through our community. I cherish the moments spent with family, especially during festivals like Mashramani, where we celebrate our heritage through music, dance, and, of course, delicious food. For those of us who have ventured abroad, like many in the diaspora, these shared experiences keep us grounded and connected to our roots, no matter where we find ourselves.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
