Despite the occasional misconceptions about our nation—like when someone asks if we even have a government (yes, we do, believe it or not!)—I take pride in sharing the beauty and resilience of Guyana. From the stunning Kaieteur Falls to the vibrant markets filled with the freshest produce, our country is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. I also love connecting with the Guyanese diaspora, who share a common bond whether they're in New York or Miami, reminiscing about home and the flavors of our beloved dishes like cook-up rice or dhal puri.
