Greetings! My name is Manoj Persaud, a proud labourer hailing from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically the vibrant community along the B Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich waters of the Essequibo River has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our local culture and heritage. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepperpot on special occasions or sharing stories about the enchanting River Hoodoo, I cherish every moment spent in our tight-knit community.
Being part of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the strong ties we share with family and friends abroad.
