Hello! My name is Margaret Miguel, and I proudly hail from the lush community of St. Monica in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. As a dedicated farmer, I cultivate the rich land that has been passed down through generations, growing everything from cash crops to the vibrant fruits that our local markets cherish. My roots run deep in this beautiful land where the smell of freshly harvested crops mingles with the sounds of the river and the laughter of children playing in the backyard.
Having spent my life surrounded by the warmth of our local customs and the aroma of our traditional dishes like cook-up rice and pepperpot, I carry a piece of Guyana's heart wherever I go.
