Hello! I’m Corinne Thornhill, a proud farmer from the serene village of Haimaracabra in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the Pomeroon River flows gracefully and the lush landscapes speak to the heart of our culture. I am passionate about sustainable farming practices that honor the rich heritage of our indigenous and Afro-Guyanese communities, and I believe our land should flourish just like our traditions. Having spent time in both Guyana and the diaspora, particularly in New York, I’ve come to appreciate the bond we share as a community.
