Hello! My name is Marie Vansluytman, and I proudly call Pomeroon River Friendship Backlands home. As a housewife, I embrace the rich culture and traditions of our beautiful Guyana. From the vibrant sounds of the cassava festival to the warm aromas wafting from my kitchen as I prepare traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, my life is deeply intertwined with our heritage.
