Hello! My name is Marvin Pooran, and I proudly call the vibrant community of Exmouth in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes of Guyana, I have always been deeply connected to my roots, which are firmly planted in our rich cultural heritage. From the rhythms of our folk music to the aroma of a good dal puri shared among family and friends, my experiences have shaped who I am today. Whether it’s tearing off pieces of dhal puri to savor with a hearty stew or enjoying a festive gathering by the riverside, the joys of Guyanese life are always close to my heart.

My journey has taken me through the heart of Guyana, where the riverbanks of Duemercy and the friendly smiles of my neighbors fill my days with meaning.
