Like many Guyanese, I understand that while we may be small, our spirit is mighty. It's always amusing to hear folks mispronounce our names or confuse our geography, but it reminds me of the warmth and laughter we share as a people. After all, who else but a fellow Guyanese can tell the difference between a tasty pomerac and a peanut?
