Hello! I’m Veron Millington, a dedicated teacher based in the vibrant community of Chinese, nestled in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana. My passion lies in educating the next generation about our rich heritage, the beauty of our landscapes, and the importance of cultural connection. I believe that our stories, much like the winding rivers and lush greenery of our homeland, are essential to understanding who we are as a people. It’s a joy to share the wonders of Guyana, from the serene waters of the Akawini River Mango Landing to the delicious taste of pepper pot and roti, with my students and the diaspora community.
