Hello! I’m Mohamed Khan, a proud farmer from the rich and vibrant Pomeroon region of Guyana. Growing up near the banks of the Pomeroon River, I have always been deeply connected to the land and its bountiful produce. Whether I’m cultivating rice or harvesting fresh fruits, every day in the field is a reminder of the beauty and potential that our homeland offers.
My heart is firmly rooted in Guyanese culture, where the flavors of our diverse ethnic groups come together to create dishes that are simply irresistible. While pepper pot is often celebrated as our national dish, I believe it’s just a glimpse of the culinary heritage we share. From the spicy curries to the hearty dishes of the Amerindian communities, every meal tells a story. As I cultivate my crops, I’m also inspired by the dreams and aspirations of our Guyanese community both here and abroad. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
