Growing up near the Pom River, I have fond memories of dipping the first ripe fruit into sweet juice, a ritual that connects us all. Some of my favorite moments are spent sharing meals with friends and family, enjoying classic dishes like pepperpot and roti while we reminisce about the days spent by the riverbanks. St. Monica and River Aberdeen Estate Lower hold a special place in my heart; these neighborhoods are not just locations on a map but are integral to our shared stories and experiences.
