Greetings! My name is Mullen Archer, a proud rice farmer based in the vibrant region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. The lush landscapes of my homeland inspire me every day as I cultivate rice, a staple not only for Guyana but also for many in the Caribbean and beyond. Growing up surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of our country, I appreciate the diverse influences that shape our way of life, from the Afro-Guyanese traditions celebrated during Mashramani to the delightful tastes of pepper pot, enhanced with the unique flavors of cassava syrup.
Guyana is a land of remarkable contrasts and connections. Our community, enriched by the contributions of Africans, Portuguese, Chinese, and Indigenous peoples, showcases a blend that is both unique and harmonious. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
