Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I’ve always been surrounded by the serenity of our lush landscapes and the warmth of our communities. From the lively markets in nearby Grant Mocha to the bustling streets of Georgetown, I’m deeply connected to the pulse of Guyana. I take pride in the rich heritage we share, from our delicious pepperpot and cook-up rice to the rhythmic beats of our traditional music that resonate in every celebration.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections I have with fellow Guyanese no matter where they are in the world.
