Hello! I’m Nalinee Persaud, a proud housewife living in the beautiful Coast Mc Nabb area of Lima Sands in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My heart is deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of our land, where the sweet aroma of fresh spices and the rich flavors of our traditional dishes, like pepperpot and cook-up rice, fill our homes. Life in Guyana is all about community and connection, whether it’s sharing a plate of mango chow with neighbors or gathering for lively chats under the tall coconut trees.

Growing up, I’ve felt the warmth of our hospitality and the resilience of our spirit, which echoes in the smiles of those I meet and the stories we share. It’s no wonder that even in the diaspora, we find ways to stay connected, often reminiscing about home while enjoying a taste of Whitey, the ice cream bean fruit that melts like cotton candy!
Though I currently reside in Guyana, I have a global family that extends beyond borders.
