Greetings! I’m Nandanie Persaud, a dedicated teacher residing on the Essequibo Coast, specifically at 21 Public Road West Airy in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My passion for education is deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, where I strive to inspire the young minds of our community. As many in our diaspora express, the authentic flavors of Guyana are irreplaceable, evoking memories of family gatherings where Aajee and Nanny would whip up meals that filled our hearts and stomachs. I feel fortunate to be part of a culture that values community, hospitality, and the sharing of homemade goodness.
In addition to my commitment to education, I take pride in the growth and development of our region. While enjoying the beautiful sights of our rivers and the majesty of landmarks like St. Monica, I am also aware of the challenges we face, particularly concerning infrastructure. However, I believe that with hard work and unity, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and the generations to come. As I continue to teach, I remain hopeful and excited about the potential of Guyana and its people.
