Greetings from the vibrant heart of Guyana! My name is Narotam Babulall, and I am a dedicated teacher based in the beautiful village of Zuil Essequibo Coast. Living in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I draw inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of our nation, where the Amazon rainforest meets our diverse communities. Whether it's sharing stories with my students about the majestic Kaieteur Falls or introducing them to our beloved local dishes like curry and rice, I strive to instill a sense of pride in our unique Guyanese identity.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of maintaining our connections to our roots, especially as many of us have ventured abroad in search of new opportunities. I've had the privilege of meeting fellow Guyanese who share their experiences, from the bustling streets of New York to the serene landscapes of India, where many of our ancestors hailed from.
