Greetings! I'm Nathan Smith, a dedicated chainsaw operator hailing from the vibrant community of Karawab, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscape, I have developed a profound appreciation for the flora and fauna of our beloved homeland, as well as the strong bonds within our tight-knit community.

Whether I'm maneuvering my chainsaw through the dense forests or sharing stories about the unique experiences we've had at Lower Pom River or Red Hill, I find joy in connecting with the land and my fellow residents. Food is a huge part of our culture, and I love nothing more than gathering with friends and family to enjoy a hearty plate of pepperpot or cook up some fresh fish caught from the Pom River.
While I proudly represent the spirit of Karawab, I remain connected to our vibrant diaspora. I cherish the exchanges with those who have ventured far from home, reminiscing about the tranquil waters of Quitaro Island and the communal gatherings we shared.
