Hello! I’m Navika Dayal, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, living in the vibrant community of Reliance Housing, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this culturally rich region, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local traditions, from the flavorful delights of cook-up rice and pepperpot to the lively sounds of tassa music during our community celebrations. Yes, we have our issues, from solid waste management to the need for a better public transport system, but the resilience of the Guyanese spirit shines through in our efforts to advocate for change.
