Greetings! My name is Nazir Nauth, and I proudly call the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a dedicated farmer based on the picturesque Bank Essequibo 29 Public Road, I am deeply rooted in the vibrant agricultural traditions that define our community. From cultivating fresh fruits like the sweet and juicy pommerac to the rich, aromatic rice fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, my work not only nourishes my family but also contributes to the heritage of our beloved Guyana.
Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Guayana Esequiba and the friendly faces of my neighbors, I have developed a profound appreciation for our culture. The local markets buzz with life as we share delicious dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, often reminiscing about the stories of our ancestors. Despite being far from some of my family members who now reside in places like New York and Greece, our connection remains strong through these shared culinary experiences and memories of home.
