Hello! My name is Neville Watson, a proud Guyanese seaman hailing from the beautiful region of Bank Essequibo. Growing up surrounded by the luscious landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I developed a deep love for the rivers that weave through our communities, and I often find myself reminiscing about the tranquil days spent along the banks of the Essequibo River. As a seaman, I’ve traversed the seas, but no matter where I go, the memories of home always guide me back. From the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene beauty of the Rupununi savannahs, Guyana is more than just a place; it's a feeling. I cherish the camaraderie within our diaspora, and I often hear echoes of our shared experiences, whether it's a laugh about someone being "tired of him" or an exchange of thoughts on the challenges our nation faces. Guyana has its complexities, but as my fellow countrymen remind me, it’s home, and we embrace it with all its flaws and beauty.
