Nestled along the Pomeroon River, my home is a stone's throw from the picturesque River Parapi Settlement, where the lush greenery and rich cultural heritage inspire my daily life. Growing up surrounded by a melting pot of traditions, I’ve been fortunate to experience the diverse Southern Caribbean Indian and Muslim cultures that have shaped our nation, a legacy of the once-mighty British and French Empires.
My love for Guyanese cuisine runs deep; nothing beats the sweet tang of guinep on a sunny afternoon or the rich, hearty flavors of a good pepperpot during family gatherings.
