Hello! I’m Patrick Williams, a logger from St. Monica in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant culture of Guyana has shaped my love for nature and the deep connections I have with my community. Whether it’s walking along the banks of the Pomeroon River or sharing stories by the fire, every moment here is a reminder of the rich heritage that defines us as Guyanese.
Food plays a huge part in our lives, and I’m particularly fond of our traditional dishes like pepper pot, which reflects the diverse influences of our history. The blend of African, Indian, Portuguese, Chinese, and Indigenous roots in our cuisine is something I cherish, and there's nothing like the taste of cassava-derived casrip syrup in a homemade pepper pot! Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
