Hello! My name is Pauline Hodge, a passionate teacher based in the charming community of 12 La Bagatelle Leguan, nestled in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have always been inspired by our rich heritage. From the serene Pomeroon River to the lively atmosphere of Warakabra Hill, I cherish the beauty that our land offers. My roots run deep here, and I find great joy in sharing the stories and traditions of our people with my students.
As an educator, I believe in fostering a love for learning while highlighting the importance of our local culture. I often incorporate elements of Guyanese life into my lessons, whether it’s discussing the various cuisines like pepperpot or the significance of our festivals.
