Hello! My name is Pedro Da Silva, and I hail from the vibrant community of Mission in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. As a dedicated labourer, I work hard to support my family and contribute to our local economy. Growing up in this lush part of the world, I’ve been fortunate to experience the rich culture and warmth of our people, from enjoying a delicious plate of pepperpot at family gatherings to celebrating Mashramani with friends. These traditions keep our spirits high, even as we navigate life's challenges.
Living in Guyana means being surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty – the Essequibo River flows nearby, often reminding me of our deep connection to the land and water. I cherish the moments spent with my friends, sharing stories and laughter, just as our ancestors did.
