Hello! My name is Veira Alfred, and I hail from the beautiful Essequibo region, specifically the 424 North New Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the rich flora and fauna of Guyana, I've developed a deep appreciation for our natural landscapes, especially the serene Pomeroon River and the vibrant Karawab Creek. These places evoke memories of my childhood, where fishing and gathering with family were daily joys.
As a dedicated labourer, I take pride in contributing to my community while staying connected to our culinary heritage.
