Greetings! I’m Randolph Banarsee, a carpenter proudly rooted in the vibrant community of Essequibo Coast, specifically the Lima New Housing area in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here, I’ve been fortunate to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of Guyanese culture, where the sounds of the Pomeroon River and the aromas of local delicacies, like our famous curry, have shaped my identity. Whether it’s celebrating Mashramani with family or enjoying a hearty meal of metemgee, each experience has deepened my love for this beautiful land of many waters.
As a carpenter, I bring not just skill but also a passion for creating spaces that reflect the warmth of our culture. Every piece of wood I work with tells a story, much like the stories passed down through generations in my family. My parents, who also hail from British Guiana, instilled in me the importance of hard work and the value of community. I cherish the connections I have with my neighbors and fellow artisans, as we strive to build a better future while honoring our roots.
