Hello! My name is Randolph Latchman, and I am proud to call the Essequibo Coast my home. Growing up in Pomona, surrounded by the lush beauty of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I developed a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of Guyana. As a sailor, I navigate the waters that connect our vibrant communities, much like the rivers that have historically united us. There's nothing quite like the taste of fresh catch accompanied by a side of rice and peas, or indulging in a plate of pepperpot during the holidays, bringing back cherished memories of family gatherings.
In my travels, I often carry with me the essence of our local culture, sharing stories of our beloved landmarks like the majestic Kaieteur Falls and the bustling Stabroek Market with those I meet. The warmth of our people and the rhythm of our Bhojpuri music resonate deeply within me, reminding me of our diverse roots and the strength of our community. I love connecting with fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora, who share the same pride in our identity and traditions.
