Hello! I’m Raoul Allecock, a proud miner residing in the heart of River Saxacalli Essequibo, in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My journey has been shaped by the rich history and vibrant culture of my homeland, where the resilience of our African ancestors inspires me daily. We’ve survived and thrived against the odds, and I carry that spirit with me wherever I go. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for our local cuisine, particularly dishes like pepperpot, which remind me of home and family gatherings. The Essequibo River, with its winding paths and serene beauty, holds countless memories for me. I'm always eager to share the unique flavors and experiences of Guyana with others, whether it’s through food, music, or the warmth of our community.
