Growing up near the Pomeroon River, I have always been inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us. Many of my neighbors and I share memories of fishing along the riverbanks and gathering for celebrations like Phagwah and Mashramani, where together we honor our rich cultural heritage. I remain connected to the vibrant diaspora of Guyanese across the globe, cherishing their stories and contributions to our shared legacy.
