Hello! I am Ravindra Ramotar, a proud farmer residing in the vibrant Essequibo Coast at Capoey Compound, within the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up in a community rich with culture and tradition, I’ve always found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it’s cultivating my crops or sharing a good meal with family and friends. My favorite moments are those spent around the dinner table, enjoying dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which truly embody the spirit of our Guyanese heritage.
As a farmer, I am deeply connected to the land and the people of Guyana. I am grateful for the recent investments in infrastructure and education that are helping to shape our future. With the construction of new bridges and free access to universities, our communities are becoming more interconnected and empowered.
