Greetings! My name is Seu Ramotar, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Here in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I immerse myself in the rich culture and traditions that define our beautiful country. As a labourer, I enjoy the camaraderie of the community and cherish the simpler pleasures of life, from savoring a plate of delicious roti with curry to sharing stories over a warm cup of sugarcane tea. Our region is known for its lush landscapes, and I often reminisce about the vibrant rivers and the iconic Sugar Mill at Anna Regina, where generations of my family have worked.
Engaging with my fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora, fills my heart with joy. Whether it’s discussing cricket legends like Shivnarine Chanderpaul or debating the best local dishes—like the ever-popular rajpattie—there's always a sense of pride in our heritage. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
