Greetings! My name is Ravindranau Persaud, and I am a dedicated teacher residing in the beautiful community of Ocean View, Uitvlugt, on the West Coast of Demerara. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have always been inspired by the rich traditions and diverse heritage that shape our nation. Whether it's the rhythmic beats of tassa music during Mashramani, the aroma of pepperpot wafting through the air during Christmas, or the electrifying atmosphere of cricket matches that unite us as Caribbeans, these experiences fuel my passion for education and community engagement.
As an educator, I strive to instill a love for learning in my students, drawing on our unique Guyanese context. I often find joy in sharing stories of our landmarks, from the historic St. George’s Cathedral in Georgetown to the picturesque waterfalls of Kaieteur.
