Hello! I’m Raymond Murray, a proud Guyanese and a dedicated jetman based in the beautiful Pomeroon region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant rivers of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our natural environment and the importance of preserving it. Whether I’m zipping along the Pomeroon River or savoring a delicious plate of cook-up rice, I carry my culture with me wherever I go.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connection with my roots, and I often reflect on the stories shared by my grandparents. Their journey has inspired me to stay connected with our homeland while exploring opportunities abroad. Engaging with fellow Guyanese, whether it’s reminiscing about the warmth of a Sunday afternoon at the market or discussing the hidden gems of our country, brings me immense joy. I believe our culture, rich with influences from our diverse heritage, is something to be celebrated.
