Greetings! My name is Renete Duncan, a proud labourer hailing from the vibrant community of River Grant Marlborough in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled near the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, my home is a place where the sounds of nature blend with the rich traditions of our culture. The shared stories and laughter around a plate of metemgee or dhal puri remind me of our roots and the warmth of community gatherings. When I see love and support from across the world, like that from our friends in Bangladesh, it warms my heart.
