Hello! I’m Reshma Narine, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, living in the vibrant Pomona Housing area. Guyana is my heart and soul, and nothing makes me happier than sharing the rich culture and heritage of our beautiful land with the world. Growing up surrounded by the warm hospitality of my community, I cherish the flavors of our traditional dishes—nothing beats a well-cooked plate of pepperpot or a hearty serving of curry with rice. It's true what they say: you simply can’t find the same taste of home anywhere else, especially not in America! I love bringing people together over food, laughter, and the shared experiences that make us uniquely Guyanese. Just like many in our diaspora, I often think of home and the vibrant celebrations that connect us all, whether it’s the festive vibes of Mashramani or the joy of Eid in our diverse communities.
