Hello! My name is Ricardo Stoll, and I am proud to call the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I find joy in the vibrant culture and rich traditions that Guyana has to offer. From the sweet aroma of cook-up rice wafting through the air to the lively rhythms of our local music, every day is a celebration of our unique heritage. I believe it is essential to cherish and share our culinary delights, like the irresistible fish and chips enjoyed by many, creating connections that transcend borders.
Having spent time both in Guyana and abroad, I'm deeply connected to the diaspora community that celebrates our roots while embracing new experiences. I often reminisce about growing up in Albouystown, where the sense of community was palpable, and the stories shared were as colorful as the local markets. Whether connecting with fellow Guyanese in Canada or sharing a meal with friends over a plate of roti and curry, I relish the opportunities to reflect on our shared journey and the diverse backgrounds that shape our identity, including influences from Indian, Scottish, and other cultures.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
