Greetings! My name is Rondy Pearson, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community of Essequibo Mainstay Lake in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a labourer, I work hard to support my family and contribute to our local economy. Many diaspora members reminisce about the flavors of home, often commenting on their experiences with prices abroad—I can assure you, you won’t find a $2,300 duck curry anywhere in Guyana! I encourage everyone to visit our beautiful country and savor the true essence of our local dishes, just as those who have tasted it, like my friend David, have done.
