Hello! I’m Rove Harris, a proud Guyanese from the beautiful village of Siriki, located along the Upper Pom River in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My days are spent as a laborer, but my heart is deeply rooted in the vibrant culture and traditions of my homeland. From the rich flavors of our cuisine—nothing beats a plate of pepperpot or cook-up rice made with love—to the breathtaking views of our Essequibo River, I find joy in the simple pleasures that life in Guyana offers.
As someone who embraces my heritage, I cherish the Creole language, which is the heartbeat of our community.
